This lovely house was built in 1951 for a family from New York, who for three generations enjoyed it as their "country home." The original design was by noted Greenwich, Connnecticut architect Phillip Ives. The house was re-envisioned and expanded in 2008 by architect Jeffrey Banes with a deep reverence for the materials and architectural detail of its history. The house has four bedrooms, four full and two half baths. It is located in the charming town of Londonderry, 75 miles from the Albany International Airport, 17 miles from Manchester Vermont with its shops and restaurants, 5 miles from Weston, Vermont home to New England’s premier theater company, the iconic Vermont Country Store and the Weston Antique Show.
